What does the Committee do?

The Committee manages the day-to-day business of Project, and sets its longer term directions. Each year, a new committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting, at which all members are invited to submit nominations for positions. The AGM is advertised through member newsletters, arts mailing lists, and local media.

When are meetings held?

Committee meetings are held 6pm every 2nd Wednesday at the gallery, usually lasting an hour. All members and interested persons are invited. Please contact the Chairperson before the meeting to add an item to the agenda.

What can the Committee do for me?

Being part of the Project Committee provides invaluable experience in all aspects of Gallery management, from curating and lighting, through research, web, day-to-day administration, advertising/marketing, finance, and writing grant applications. It is also an easy way to network with some passionate and experienced arts and community workers in the Illawarra.

How can I be involved?

We always need more volunteers! If you'd like to be part of the Project Committee please contact us to talk over how you could be involved - there is always something more that needs doing!
