Main Gallery

Exhibitions in the Main Gallery are charged at $960 per 2 week block. This includes an installation period of Monday and Tuesday, and an exhibiting period during normal opening hours (Wed-Fri, 12pm-6pm, Sat-Sun, 11am-4pm).

Half shows in the Main Space can be arranged at half price, but only if another half show can be found for that period. If you are considering a half show, it is highly recommended you find another artist to exhibit with.

A 50% deposit for shows is due upon signing the contract. The balance is due 4 weeks before commencement of the exhibition. While we understand the financial difficulties for exhibiting artists, prompt payment allows Project to continue to be financially viable.

Deposits are forfeited if cancellation occurs less than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the booked period.

Artists are responsible for staffing their own shows. Project may be able to assist with staffing in emergencies, and if enough notice is given.

Project provides a lighting technician to light your shows. Please consult with Project staff about special lighting needs.

Small Wall

Project is now calling for proposals for our new Small Wall exhibition space.

This new space will be up and running in Feb 2010, and includes a white wall (measuring approx 4.2m wide x 3.6m high), plus the space in front of the wall, perfect for small exhibitions, sculpture, installations, multimedia work, one large work or several small works. Project is encouraging artists to use the space in innovative ways.

The Small Wall costs just $200 per fortnight to hire. This includes an installation period of Monday and Tuesday, and an exhibiting period during normal opening hours (Wed-Fri, 12pm-6pm, Sat-Sun, 11am-4pm). Small wall exhibitions run in conjunction with the Main Gallery exhibition, and would generally share the same opening night.
